My Favourite Travel Photo gives photographers the opportunity to have their photo:
viewed by our expert panel of judges;
exhibited at Michaels Camera store in Melbourne's CBD; and
win a prize. This year's Panel's Choice Award winner will recieve representation with RovingEye, an online photographic agency, where they will feature in a special newsletter distributed to their global clients. The People's Choice and Highest Auctioned Price winners will receive an Adobe Photoshop course run by Michaels Camera Stores that runs for 8 hours over 2 days.
Conditions of Entry
1. Each Entrant may submit only ONE photograph. Photographs must be submitted to My Favourite Travel Photo by 24 August 2008. The photograph must be a low resolution digital file (max 500k each, and approx. 600-800 pixels and 72 dpi).
2. By submitting the photograph, the Entrant confirms that the photograph is the sole work of the Entrant.
3. My Favourite Travel Photo will contact the Entrant if their photograph is chosen for exhibition and will request a high resolution high quality image by a specified due date.
4. Unsuccessful Entrants will not be contacted.
5. The judges' decision is final regarding the selection of photographs and prizes awarded and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Entrants whose photographs are selected for exhibition hereby licence non-exclusive rights to My Favourite Travel Photo to use the submitted photo for promotional and administrative purposes associated with current and future My Favourite Travel Photo exhibitions and auctions. These purposes include display on the website, flyers, in the press and general promotion.
7. My Favourite Travel Photo will make every reasonable effort to ensure that published photos are attributed to the Entrant.
8. The photos will not be used for any other purpose without expressed permission from the Entrant.
9. The Entrant's final photograph will be reproduced for exhibition and may require retouching.
10. All costs associated with framing and exhibiting the photograph will be incurred by My Favourite Travel Photo.
11. The Entrant's exhibited photograph will be attributed to the Entrant.
12. My Favourite Travel Photo will auction the photographs, and all of the money raised from the auction will be donated to Co-Operation in Development.
13. Unsold exhibited photographs remain the property of My Favourite Travel Photo.
14. Any contact details provided by the Entrant will be used only for the purposes of administering the My Favourite Travel Photo Exhibition.
